2007 PASS Community Summit Wrap-up

The Professional Association for SQL Server, also known as PASS, had their annual Community Summit recently in Denver, Colorado. Thanks to everyone who visited the SQL Sentry booth to chat and view Event Manager in action. SQL Sentry was proud to be the Gold Sponsor once again for this year's event. At the Community Summit, Rushabh Mehta, Director of Technology for PASS, announced that they have selected SQL Sentry Event Manager as the tool to manage their SQL Server enterprise hosted by MaximumASP. There was also excitement around our two prize drawings for the Garmin Nuvi 680 GPS units. Those units were won by Glenn Mackey of GuideOne and Julie Bloomquist of SSM IHT. Congratulations to both Glenn and Julie. Check out the pictures from PASS and see if you are in any of them.

SQLSaturday Orlando

On November 10, 2007 the Orlando SQL Server Users Group is having a free one day learning event for SQL Server professionals, loosely patterned on the well known Code Camp model. SQL Sentry is a sponsor of this event that brings 30 great sessions featuring a great mix of speakers; like Andy Warren, Brian Knight and Kevin Jacobs (just to name a few).
