Event Manager includes visual schedule management, schedule performance monitoring, alerting and response actions, graphical reporting, and advanced chaining and queuing for SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, Oracle (8i, 9i, 10g) and Windows Task Scheduler.

The calendar view provides a clear picture of event schedules via an Outlook-style GUI, providing unprecedented visibility and control over scheduling issues that can impact server performance. The comprehensive and reliable notification system generates alerts for failures, long-running or hung events, schedule collisions and more, so DBAs can minimize the time spent on routine chores while maximizing the time devoted to more valuable, strategic efforts.
