BURGER KINGŪ operates over 11,000 restaurants in more than 60
countries around the world. Their IT department manages an equally
impressive SQL Server enterprise with 20 local and 500 remote servers
that collect and manage business information for daily operation and
business-critical decision support. As the enterprise grew, monitoring
and notification issues became a significant daily burden.
Event Manager was deployed in the BURGER KING enterprise during
Spring of 2005. It was configured to monitor all SQL Server jobs and
manage notifications. Reliable and easy to manage notifications were
especially important to the DBA staff. Since Event Manager manages
notifications via one console without agents on each server, they were
able to install and configure it quickly.
"45 min after downloading Event Manager we had it
fully configured to our needs and it ran flawlessly. Event Manager
accomplished in minutes what another tool failed to do after many months
of trial and error."

Event Manager has been very successful at BURGER KING, notifications have
proven reliable, flexible and easy to manage. The DBA staff is saving
considerable time each day and Event Manager replaced a previous tool
that cost 3x more.
"I save at least an hour a day without the chore of
checking SQL Server jobs. More importantly, I now have great peace of
mind. If there are no email alerts, there are no problems. Event Manager
is simple to use and dependable. What a great product and I should also
mention great tech support as well," said Victor.
